01 / My approach

A polished groom should never come at the cost of your dog’s comfort.

Every appointment starts with observation: body language, comfort level, coat condition, and what your dog can reasonably handle that day.

04 / Meet Daniel

Technique matters.
So does trust.

I’m Daniel Lin, a professional dog groomer and certified canine behavior trainer with five years of training experience. I specialize in Asian Fusion grooming and serve dogs across the Greater Seattle area, including Bellevue, Seattle, Redmond, Issaquah, and Renton.

Grooming asks a lot from a dog: unfamiliar sounds, close handling, standing still, and trusting a person with every paw. My behavior background helps me notice the small signals, adjust before stress escalates, and choose a safer path when “perfect” is not the right goal that day.

I work with dogs of many sizes and coat types, with special patience for first-timers, seniors, high-energy dogs, and dogs who need a little more time to feel secure.

05 / Before your visit

A few helpful things to know.

How do I book specifically with Daniel?+

Just fill out the appointment with your information, your dog’s details, and your preferred visit. I’ll be in touch shortly to confirm the details and arrange the appointment with you.

What should I bring?+

Please bring a current rabies vaccination record. The expiration date or next due date needs to be visible. A reference photo and any relevant medical or behavior information are also helpful.

What if my dog has mats?+

De-matting is generally discouraged because it can cause physical discomfort or injury and emotional stress; regular brushing at home is the best way to arrive mat-free. I’ll assess the coat and explain the safest realistic option—usually a shorter haircut rather than a longer styled finish, with careful brushing only when it is safe. Any de-matting performed is charged based on the time and complexity involved.

Can you work with an anxious or senior dog?+

Often, yes. I adjust pace and handling to the individual dog. For safety, some dogs may need a modified service plan or veterinary grooming support.
